human-powered freeride and freestyle. This shape is particularly

features, and side-hits. As a true all-rounder, the Transition Finder

Personality
The
newly reduced taper enhances its freestyle capabilities and fits nicely
into the skin track on the climb, while the diamond nose and tail shape
provide solid torsion and stability for cranking turns and stomping
landings. With a medium flex and early rise in the nose, this shape
makes for a playful and fun companion on any backcountry adventure.
The Details
The
Transition Finder Split features our FLOAT CAMBER, which curves into a
rocker shape in the nose, providing excellent float in deep powder. The
camber under-foot offers extra pop for air-time and solid grip in
climb-mode or on the descent. For an easy and quick setup we suggest
using our pre-cut custom fit skins on this shape.

Our philosophy of snowboarding is to try new shapes, lengths, widths, and to keep an open mind for alternative riding experiences; however, we do have some limits to consider so that your board will work as it was designed to.
Your
weight plays a major role in how the board will flex, and your shoe
size will affect toe and heel drag when turning. The below size chart is
for reference only, as our recommendations may vary depending on your
stance and riding ability.

Lightweight and Surfy
The
Arc splitboard binding is lightweight for long tours, epic
overnighters, trees, and steeps. The baseplate is CNC machined with
maximum cutouts to shave weight yet maintain strength and performance
while incorporating our industry-leading Tesla T1 binding anatomy. All
Arc bindings feature a medium flex version of our Rip ‘N’ Flip highbacks
and smaller profile Pillow Line ankle straps with flex windows for a
nice surfy ride down. Every piece of this binding is made in-house with
the exception of a few screws and the buckles!
Pillow Line Straps
Arc Pillow Line Straps are lightweight -
46% lighter than their fabric strap predecessors. They are
ultradurable, comfortable, waterproof, one-piece molded construction,
and made 100% in-house. Strap pillows are thin and flexible for a
comfortable, conformed fit, while thicker ribs are held off the boot and
provide stiffness for a uniquely responsive ride. Arc ankle straps are
smaller around the boot than the Surge and feature a flex window for max
agility while maintaining support. The toe straps come in one
construction for both Arc and Surge models, and are designed to be used
as a toe cap but also fit traditionally over the top.
Rip 'N' Flip Highback
The R&D shines with a shape built
from 3D scans of popular splitboard boot models, and a list of rad
features designed specifically for and fully appreciated by the
splitboarder. The Arc highback has a moderate amount of glass fiber fill
for medium flex and a surfy feel. The tool free forward lean adjuster
(FLAD) offers complete customization from 0° to 22° in ride mode. The
Forward Lean Adjuster toggles easily between forward lean position and
-13° touring position for easy transitions.
Whammy Bar Climbing Wire
A single fatty climbing wire is
built into the baseplate with a side arm lever for easy position changes
on the steeps. You can switch easily from stowed, to low (12°), to high
(18°) and back again while touring.
Puck Compatibility
Slide them on and snap the ramp down.
Snap the ramp up and slide them off. The most functional way to attach
your binding to your board in ride mode. Period. Spark R&D
bindings are designed to work with all puck compatible splitboard
models. When used with Arc bindings conveniently access puck screws with
the bindings in place for precise stance adjustment. Available in a
flat and a 3° canted model. Note that pucks do not come with the
bindings out of the box and must be purchased separately.
T1 Heel Rest
The T1 Heel Rest catches the climbing wire in
the 12° and 18° positions and is specifically designed to hold the T1
Step Locker in place.
Buckles & Plastics
Ladders and adjusters are produced
in-house with unique thermoplastics that maintain flex over a wide
temperature range, performing well on spring tours as well as sub-zero
suffer fests. All straps incorporate Burton's time-tested bomber
buckles.
Spark Pucks
Channel-like stance adjustability for splitboards built with inserts. Believe it.
This breakthrough in design has riders beyond stoked , and has made Spark Pucks our most popular splitboard accessory.

the skins are tailored for high performance thru Kohla’s new FIBER SEAL and SMART GLUE technologies. FIBER SEAL TECHNOLOGY prevents the skin construction from absorbing water to maintain a lightweight skin and good grip and a low friction glide in changing conditions. SMART GLUE is a solvent-free adhesive with better bonding in wet or cold conditions
Skins with SMART GLUE are easier to release than traditional hot-melt skins.
