The shape of the all-new K2 Isolator Splitboard pays homage to our best-selling Volume Shift™ model, the Excavator, the K2 Isolator Splitboard is an all-gender tool that was built to get you deep into the backcountry…where the good stuff is.

We’ve taken a proven shape, sidecut, and camber profile and made adjustments to bring the Isolator to life. We’ve added our ICG™ 10 carbon-fiberglass hybrid for snap, a lightweight split-specific core, and Karakoram UltraClips™ to ensure that the Isolator rides more like a solid snowboard than any other split on the market.

A-Series Aluminum Chassis:
The A-Series Chassis provides the reactive flex and power transfer of aluminum underfoot. The extruded aluminum heel-cup provides ultimate toe heel response. The A-Series Chassis was designed to be less rigid that previous designs allowing the aluminum to flex more under the rider’s weight allowing for a much more reactive ride. Because the Chassis is 100% aluminum, it is narrower than nylon or plastic chassis allowing the board to flex more freely from tip to tail.

Pinless Speed-Rail Mounting System:
Voile's quick interchange bindings built specifically for split bindings.

Glass Filled Nylon Highback:
Injected short-glass makes the highback more responsive while the nylon composite provides a smooth ride. Due to increased material stiffness the highback can be designed with less material making it lighter than conventional nylon highbacks.

Drop Back Highback:
Drop that highback back for ultimate tour-ability.

Reversible Ankle Strap:  !!
Designed to be worn in two positions: one for hard charging, performance and the other for a more relaxed feel that lets you really lean into your ride. Utilizes a strong upper and a soft flexible lower portion to support all of your riding needs.

Minimalist Toe Strap 2.0:
Further improving on Ride’s Minimalist Toe Strap, the Minimalist Toe Strap 2.0 keeps the same look and feel with a closer boot to binding fit to maximize performance and boot hold.

Linkage Ratchets:
Designed to improve ladder durability and eliminate ratchet wag, resulting in a smoother user experience with the same hold you expect.

Fully Adjustable Chassis:
In simple terms, this binding is adjustable, giving you the ability to get the perfect fit between your binding and boots. Need some help with adjustments?

Fully Recycleable Aluminum Heel Cup:
Aluminum - infinitely recyclable. This heel cup, made of aluminum, can be fully recycled when you decide you're done with 'em. Or you could just keep riding them, but it's good to know if you get frustrated and throw them away, make sure they go in the recycle bin not the garbage.

Tool-Less Toe Strap And Ankle Strap:
This one is a little different than tool-less adjustments. If you need to remove your straps, just rotate them all the way around lefty loosey. No screwdriver, just full strap rotation. Need to put them back on? Simple, do the opposite. Righty tightey.
