Jeremy Jones' own weapon for bindingless powder surfing and exploring untouched pow, whether you're playing around in the field behind the cabin or chasing wild powder high in the mountains. With the Mountain Surfer you'll get a whole new outlook on riding powder. The board is hand-shaped and developed by Jeremy Jones and Chris Christenson, legends within backcountry riding and surfing respectively. A great board both for an introduction to powsurfing and for those with more experience.
Product Features
Next-Level 3D Contour Base
The Mountain Surfer has the most complex 3D base contour of any Jones board. The 3D base is built on hydrodynamic principles found in Chris Christenson's fastest surfboard models. The convex spoon nose is beveled 12mm at the edges to increase flow and improve edge-to-edge energy transfer. The center hull — a concave 5mm channel running along the middle of the board — pushes snow toward the longitudinal speed channels, helping stabilize the board and improve glide. The rails along the outer edge have a stepped edge that increases edge grip while also moving snow toward the tail for steering.
Full Poplar Wood Core
Full poplar wood core for a lively, responsive feel underfoot.
3D Pad with Kick Tail
Traction pad with a kick tail for control and pop when riding bindingless.
Leash-Ready
M6 insert and M6 eyebolt for attaching a leash — a coiled leash is included.
