Jones Mind Expander Snowboard 2025
Friendly Surf Slasher, Easy-to-Turn, Floaty.
The Mind Expander is a playful all-mountain board designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson that wants to pop pillows and porpoise through pow. It's a friendly ride as it's easy to turn and has a directional shape with a long nose and tapered tail for epic float. This is a board for the creative rider who likes to blaze fresh tracks and draw playful lines down the mountain.

Product Features
Boost Surf Core
Advanced triple-density full wood core made from responsibly harvested Bamboo, Paulownia and Poplar. Bamboo stringers along the sidecut enhance durability, edge response and torsional stiffness, while the Paulownia keeps the core light and damp.
High Tapered Directional Shape
A longer nose, shorter tail and setback stance optimize float, maneuverability and edge power, with our most accentuated taper for float and maneuverability in deep snow.
Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer
Carbon provides crazy pop while flax sucks up chatter and reduces CO₂ emissions compared to a full carbon stringer. Developed in collaboration with the Swiss engineering firm Bcomp.
High 3D Contour Base
Surf-inspired base shaping that reduces drag and enhances glide and float, paired with Low Traction Tech for added edge grip.
Sintered 8000 Base
Premium sintered base material that's ultra fast, highly wax absorbent, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long lasting base materials in the industry.
