At Db we simplify travel through clever design. We did it for Surf, we did it for Snow and we did it for Photography. Skate has been on our radar for a while, but we took our time to gather the right resources to help us move into this space.
Over a chance conversation around photography with Ashley Rehfeld, a key figure in the Nike Skate program, we struck a common bond over the need for better language and bags for skateboarding. By the end of the call she’d convinced us to start prototypes and before we knew it we had a new, exciting category to the Db name. Ashley has the blueprint to the industry and we’re incredibly lucky to have her on board as an advisor.
