The MDXONE is a tether that combines a kids backpack for your young student and a retractable leash for the instructor.

Retractable Leash:
The leash has a 16 feet retractable cord with 2 each 12” bungee cords at the end to connect into the MDXONE attachment points. Incorporated into the MDX leash is a mold hook which can be used to lift your student up after a fall or lift your student on or off the chair lift. The hook will also give you an extra 7”-8” which reduces bending over, especially during their first lessons. The hook can be used on either of the two handles. With the retractable leash, you can now decide the distance between you and your student with a simple push on the stop/release button with your thumb. When hitting the stop button, the bungee cord will extend slowly which will not cause a jarring effect on the student.

- The MDXONE ”OX” is a small backpack/harness (10”H x 9”W x 2”D) with three attaching points for the leash.
- The OX backpack also has an optional/removable seat harness for extra support, especially for the little ones
- Two attachment points at the waist (one on each side of the hips). These attachment points are to be used with the “Y” connection for beginner.

“Versatility” We got it!

The third attachment point is located on the unique webbing taped lanyard with a Stainless Steel ring.
This attachment point is to be used when the student is at an intermediate / expert level. Both bungee clips need to be attached to the stainless steel ring.
MDXONE ”OX” snowboard/ski harness can be used from 1-year-old all the way to 5 years old depending on the size of your child.

“Adjustable straps” For sure!
The ”OX” backpack has chest and waist adjustable straps to prevent the bag to rise up. Each strap has an elastic pouch to securely store the extras, so you have no straps or cords sticking out which makes it safe when on the chair lift.

***PLEASE ALWAYS TUCK THE EXTRA STRAPS WITH THE ELASTIC POUCHES***

The MDXONE ”OX” also has a removable “seat” harness which gives more support, especially for the little ones.

“Teddy Friendly” Storage option.
The “OX” backpack has enough room in the main pouch to store the leash and also your child’s favorite Teddy Bear (sm) and an extra pair of mittens. There’s a separate pouch to store other small items (snacks, hand warmer, Nintendo DS…)

You’ll also like the two grab handles. You’ll use them frequently when your little shredder is falling and also when you go on & off the chairlifts. These handles are extremely handy!!!

It will take you 5 seconds to put the leash inside the bag at the bottom of the hill.

ALWAYS fully disconnect the LEASH from the BACKPACK when going on/off the chairlift.
