Jones Nomad Quick Tension Tail Clip
Ideal for backcountry touring and wilderness exploration
Jones Nomad Climbing Skins are premium splitboard skins that offer the ideal balance of glide, grip and durability.
The Nomad skin fibers are 70% Mohair and 30% Synthetic Nylon. The natural mohair fibers deliver exceptional glide in any snow condition because they remain soft and flexible at any temperature. The nylon fibers provide extra traction when the skin track gets steep or icy and improved durability over 100% Mohair skins. Nomad skins are PFC-free and are coated with new Bluesign-approved EVER DRY 3.0 Anti-glopping treatment to improve performance in wet snow.
The Quick Tension Tail Clip is a lightweight tail clip system designed to fit all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Discovery). Jones splitboards have a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin. The Quick Tension Clip features a durable rubber tail strap and compact metal clip.

Follow these instructions for adjusting quick tension clip:
1 - Attach skin to splitboard nose.
2 - Slide clip along tail strap and position so clip is at bottom of notch in tail.
3 - Slide end of tail strap into clip, securing clip in place on tail strap.
4 - Stretch tail strap and fix clip into notch with medium tension. Clip/strap does not need a lot of tension, just enough to hold securely in notch.
